Most of our clients prefer their sourcing arrangements to stay private, which we respect absolutely. The cases below are described with commercially sensitive detail removed. If you would like to speak to an existing client before working with us, ask — for serious enquiries we can usually arrange it.
Retail furniture programme · Ghana

Chestnut

A repeat furniture programme built around a fixed shipping calendar.

The client sells furniture through retail showrooms and needed consistent stock arriving on a predictable rhythm — not one large order followed by three months of empty floor space.

We moved them from ad-hoc ordering to a managed programme: capacity reserved with three Foshan and Dongguan factories, framework pricing agreed for the period, and buffer stock held in our Guangdong warehouse against demand swings.

Building materials for a housing scheme

Tile, sanitary ware and fittings across phases delivered months apart — matched by lot.

A developer needed tile, sanitary ware, doors and fittings for a multi-block residential scheme, with colour consistency holding across phases delivered months apart. Ceramic tile varies between production lots, and a phase-two block that does not match phase one is a visible, permanent problem.

We specified by lot and retained a physical sample board in Guangzhou, so later phases were checked against the original before loading. Everything shipped consolidated from four Foshan suppliers with a single document set for clearance at Tema.

Mixed-category container programme

Five categories, six suppliers, one container — every month.

A wholesaler was buying hardware, plastics, kitchenware, small electricals and general merchandise from six different suppliers, and running six separate shipments with six sets of documents and six clearance events per cycle.

We collected everything into our Guangdong warehouse, checked it against the packing list, and shipped it as one container with one invoice. The administrative saving turned out to matter more to them than the freight saving — though both were real.

Solar and generator supply

Systems sized against real load, with the battery paperwork handled properly.

The client had previously bought solar kits specified by a supplier rather than by a load calculation, and fielded complaints when systems could not carry what customers actually ran on them.

We rebuilt the specification from daily consumption in kWh, quoted panels, inverters and batteries as separate line items so the client could see where the money went, and arranged UN38.3 documentation for the lithium cells before booking rather than at the port.

Uniform and workwear programme

Sized, branded workwear delivered against a written size chart.

Uniform programmes fail on sizing more than anything else. The client had been burned by a previous supplier whose "L" ran two sizes small across a workforce of several hundred people.

We rebuilt the specification around measured size charts in centimetres, approved a pre-production sample made from bulk fabric rather than sample fabric, and inspected against an agreed AQL before dispatch.

Auto parts consolidation

Eight specialist suppliers, one container, one document set.

A parts distributor was running eight separate supplier relationships per cycle, with the administrative cost quietly exceeding the margin on the smaller lines.

We consolidated the whole book: parts matched by OE number and cross-reference, collected into our warehouse, checked against the packing list, and shipped as one container with one invoice.

In their words

What clients tell us.

“The container arrived exactly as the inspection photos showed. That had not happened to us before.”

Furniture retailer · Accra

“Six suppliers became one invoice. I stopped spending my mornings chasing people in a different time zone.”

Wholesaler · Kumasi

“They told me not to buy something once. That is when I started trusting the rest of it.”

Building contractor · West Africa

What these have in common

The same three moves.

01

Write it down first

Every one of these started with a written specification. It is unglamorous and it prevents almost every dispute that follows.

02

Inspect before the balance

Photographic inspection while goods are still in China, and payment released only after the buyer has seen the report.

03

Consolidate

One container, one document set, one accountable contact — worth more to most buyers than the last two percent on unit price.
